Mrs. Alta May Glassburn, 57, of Marion, died Tuesday morning in Marion General Hospital, where she had been a patient for several weeks.
She was born January 9, 1909, in Sims to Thomas and Lucresia (Tolle) White. She had lived in the Sims area all her life, and belonged to the Baptist church.
Survivors include a son, Max L Pickering of Peru; two sisters, Mrs. Gay Boles and Mrs. Eva Taylor, both of Marion, and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Thursday afternoon in Owen-Weilert Funeral Home, Marion. Burial will be in Thrailkill Cemetery, Swayzee.
