Maryville, Mo. -- Leo W. Eberle, 70, Maryville, formerly of Hays, Kan., died Saturday, Sept. 30, 1989, at the Nodaway Nursing Home, Marysville.

Mr. Eberle was born Feb. 22, 1919, in Hugo, Colo.

He was a construction Contractor for many years. He was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hays, the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He was a veteran of World War II.

Survivors include two sons, Terry of San Diego and Stan of Los Angeles; a daughter, Becky Walburn of Maryville; four sisters, Doris Boos, Alice Cunningham and Henrietta Ross, all of Hays, and Mae Bender of Russell; and nine grandchildren. The funeral will be 1 p.m. today at the Hays Memorial Chapel, Hays, the Rev. Carl Kramer officiating. Burial will be in the St. Joseph Cemetery, Hays. Visitation is at the funeral home.
