Ill for several months, Lewis R. Ames, a member of the Four Square Gospel church, died Friday at his home, 1116-1/2 State street, aged 53 years. He had lived here six years.
Surviving relatives are the widow, Mrs. Ivy Ames; two sons, Frank and Ross Ames, Bellingham; two daughters, Mrs. Ethel Campbell and Miss Ella Ames Bellingham, and one sister, Mrs. Lula Roberts, Bellingham. The Homer Mark mortuary will make the funeral announcements.
Same paper - pg 2: Funeral rites for Lewis R. Ames will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Home Mark mortuary. Rev. Ethel Deamer will officiate. Cremation will follow.
