Velma was the sixth of nine children born to W. G. and Malinda Henderson. On February 1, 1930 she married Oran Pennington Linn and from that union were born five children. Mrs. Linn served as a Sunday School Teacher and Boy Scout Leader. She was a member of The First Church of God. She was a doll collector, possessed a “green thumb” having the ability to grow practically anything and loved dogs and cats. Proceeded in death by her husband, Oran Linn, daughter, Elizabeth Charlene Furstenfeld and son Ronald Grant Linn. She is survived by daughter Charlsie Ellis, sons Dwight Linn and Rocky Linn, daughter in law Lara Linn and son in law Dwight Furstenfeld, and sister Alma Bloomfield.
