Age 74 of Bowdon, Georgia, formally of Ellijay, Georgia, passed from this life on Thursday, July 19, 2012 from her residence. She was a member of the Bowdon Church of Christ. Mrs. Holloway was born on Saturday, September 4, 1937 to her late parents Harold and Mattie Bell Thurman Rogers. She was employed as Assistant Manager at Chick-Fil-A and had also worked as an inspector and product demonstrator for Panasonic. Survivors include Husband of 56 years,Clay Holloway of the home in Bowdon, GA., sons and daughters-in-law Gregory Scott Holloway of Cumming, GA., Gary and Debbie Holloway of Senoia, GA., Christopher and Lea Holloway of Lithia Springs, GA., grandchildren Adam Holloway, Kristi Mae Attaway, Jeremiah Holloway, Abigail Holloway, Avery Holloway, Kris Chandler, Jody Stephens. Several great grandchildren also survive, sisters and brothers-inlaw include Geneva and Edward Holloway of Ellijay, Gladys and Fred Holloway of Ellijay, Linda and Merrell Vercher of Tunnel Hill.
Funeral service will be held at 3:00pm on Sunday, July 22, 2012 from the Logan Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Butch Jones officiating. Johnny and Shannon Bearden will lead congregational singing. Graveside Internment Service will follow in the Macedonia Church of Christ Cemetery in Blue Ridge, GA. Pallbearers will be Adam Holloway, Avery Holloway, Jeremiah Holloway, Jeff, John, and Jack Dotson, Mike Holloway, Roger Holloway, Steven Holloway, and David Holloway.
