Albert Jack "Jack" Seversen, 91, passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 in Salt Lake City.

Jack was born March 30, 1924 in Butte, Montana to Severin Hagbert and Vada Ling Seversen.

Jack enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps in 1942 and served during World War II. In March of 1946, he received an honorable discharge.

Following his military service, he met Mary Jean Albretsen. They were married on June 14, 1948. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. Jack was a loving and caring companion to Jean.

He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Jack worked for thirty-four years for the University of Utah as a Paint Maintenance Supervisor. In 1976, he and Jean invested in and managed the Home Hotel located in Lava Hot Springs, Idaho.

Jack was a man of all trades. His motto, "Every day is a good day."

Jack was preceded in death by his sweetheart, Jean, and his son, Ron. He is survived by his good pal, Sam; his sister-in-law, and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in the Wandamere Ward Chapel, 2700 South 300 East, South Salt Lake. A viewing will be held prior to the services from 9:30-10:45 a.m.
Interment: Hyrum City Cemetery, Hyrum.
