Mr and Mrs. John Rogero and children, Randy and Rebecca, of San Mateo, were called to Sanford last night by the death of Mrs. Rogero’s grandfather, James R. Brooks (1882-1956), who died yesterday afternoon. Funeral arrangements are incomplete pending the arrival of the family. (Palatka Daily News Obituary dtd Tuesday, 10 Apr 1956.)
