Henry Alexander Davie, Oakland attorney 33 years old, died at Providence hospital this morning following an illness since last Saturday with pneumonia.
Davie, was a nephew of the Rev. Father Peter C. Yorke of St. Mary's Cathedral San Francisco. He had practiced law in Oakland since 1917 when he returned to this city after four years spent as assistant corporation counsel of Portland Ore.
A graduate of St. Mary's college, Davie took his law degree at Hastings Law College.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Adele Wilson Davis, three sons, Theodore, Peter and Patrick Davie and a daughter, Adele Mary Davie.
William B. Davie, San Francisco attorney, is a brother as is also Theodore J. Davie of San Francisco, Mrs. Eileen Guichard and Misses Alice Mary and Martha Josephine Davie of San Francisco are sisters.
The deceased attorney came of a family of legal lights, his father, Theodore Davie, having been for years a chief justice of the District of Columbia. Miss Salina Davie, an aunt of the attorney who made with his family died three weeks ago.
