Rocco Pangallo, 62, affectionately known as Rocky, passed away peacefully on June 25, 2015 at Stamford Hospital.
Rocky was born on December 3, 1952 in Port Chester, New York to the late Rocco A. Pangallo and Rose (DeLuca) Pangallo.
Rocky was a long time resident of Stamford, CT and graduated from JM Wright Technical School.
Rocky is predeceased by his sister, Linda Corbo and her husband, Nick.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his sister, Lorie Dent and her husband Dennis of Colorado Springs, Colorado, his "brother", Mark Kuehn and his wife Linda of Stamford.
He also leaves behind his nieces, Stephanie Leidel, Tina Marie Corbo, Mackenzie Kuehn and nephews, Jon Leidel, Jonathan Kuehn, Nicholas Kuehn and his furry best friend, Timmy, as well as many relatives and friends.
Rocky is a Knights Templar, Royal Arch Mason and a Free and Accepted Mason.
He is a past master of South Bay Lodge 1145.
Rocky was the former Director of Operations at the Stamford Museum and Nature Center and at the time of his passing, a project manager for Karp Associates in New Canaan.
Befriending Rocky meant you had a lifelong friend who was always there for you when you needed him. We will miss our brother, friend and uncle.
The family wishes to thank the staff on 3 South at Stamford Hospital and Edgehill Skilled Nursing for their compassionate care of our dear brother.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2015 at 2pm at St. Cecilia Church, 1184 Newfield Avenue, Stamford, CT.
