LaVerne B. Hahn died at the Samaritan Hospice House in the presence of her family.

LaVerne was born in Lindsay, Oklahoma to John and Cammie (Jones) Manning.

She married Edgar (Buck) Hahn Sr. in McFarland, California on January 12, 1944.

After World War II, the family moved to Albany, Oregon in 1949. For over 64 years, the family lived in Albany on Highway 20 in North Albany, Hood Street, Bernard Ave, and Durillo Avenue.

LaVerne worked for Stokely-Van Camp, Inc., Albany Bag Company, and retired from Oregon Metallurgical Corporation.

She volunteered for the Red Cross Blood Mobile for many years. She also belonged to the Auxiliaries of American Legion Post #10, the Eagles, and the VFW. Her hobbies were rock collecting, gold panning, playing golf and bingo. She was an avid Trail Blazer fan.

Laverne was preceded in death by her husband and eight of her brothers and sisters.

Laverne is survived by Eddeana Vogt, daughter, Edgar Hahn Jr., son. Grandchildren, Randy Vogt, Cammie Rapp and husband Fred, Edgar Martin Hahn III and wife Kandie, and Carol Hahn. Great grandchildren, Megan Kaplan, and husband Tim, Nichole Vogt, Autumn Taylor, Derek LaFon, and Brandon Harmon. Great-great grandchild, Liam Kaplan,
