Former Ordite Dies in Colorado

Mass of Christian burial was offered Saturday, June 28, at the Fairmont Memorial Chapel in Denver, CO for Mrs. Hazelle M. Meese, 76. Burial was in Fairmont Cemetery. Mrs. Meese died June 25, 1975 at Holly Heights Nursing Care Center.

Hazelle was born and raised in Ord and married Frank Meese on April 22, 1921. She moved to Denver in 1950.

Survivors include one daughter, Loreen Burson of Franktown, CO; three granddaughters, Pamela Eller Westminster, CO, Denise Freestone of Fort Collins, CO and Karen Meese of Ord; one great granddaughter, Jessica Freestone; three sisters and four brothers, Ruth Milton, Aloha Gergen, Denver, CO, Alta, Ray, Faye, Donald Stewart, Ord; Enos Stewart, Riverside, CA; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1943, a son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Irene Meese in 1968, an infant son and three sisters.

Memorials may be given to American Cancer Society, 1809 E. 18 Ave., Denver, CO 80218
