Early Life: Sandra was born July 2, 1942, in Fremont, Dodge County, Nebraska; a daughter of John Wilkes Campbell and Glesna Gray Crocker Campbell Houghton Grigg.
Life's Work/Service/Interests: Sandra was an amazing wife, mother and grandmother. She was a wonderful example to everyone and made friends easily. She loved to spend time with her sweet grandkids whenever she had the chance. She will always be remembered for her patience, kindness and love. She had the ability to teach by her example. Sandra loved to read and always had a book going. She loved her book club and the ladies that she had met with once a month for over 30 years; they were all cherished friendships. Sandra was a lifelong member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in many capacities within the Church and loved to serve whenever she was able. Richard and Sandra served the Lord on three full-time missions and several service missions. Sandra’s greatest joy came when Richard was by her side. Sandra Jean Hurley, of Provo, Utah, was called home June 27, 2015. She was 72 years of age.
Family Message: "No one can soothe the grief of a loss, but no one can ever take away our loving memories."
Survived By: Her eternal husband, Donald Richard Hurley; sons: Don (Greta) Hurley and Danny Hurley; sisters: Kathy Hurley and Cindy (Kevin) Beckstead; sister-in-law, Natalie Hurley; 16 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Preceded In Death By: Her son, David Ryan Hurley; daughters, Julie Anne Hurley Gahwyler and Lori Beth Hurley; and her parents.
