Frederick H. Daus, 69 of 16 Swatling Rd Latham was a retired salesman for Sheridan Supply Corp and native of Troy. He was educated in Troy and before working for Sheridan had been employed at Crane Co. He was a communicant of St. Ambrose Church in Latham and a member of Watervliet Lodge of Elks.
Survivors include his wife, the former Emma M. Bowen; three sons: Donald F. of Stillwater, Kenneth E of Rotterdam and Byron K of Latham; six daughters: Mrs. Ernest Armstrong of Troy, Mrs William Kalbflsich of Huntington MA, Mrs. Harry King of Troy, Mrs. Frank Mastriani of Mechanicville, Mrs. William Caldwell of Cohoes and Mrs. Joseph Gardner of Haggerstown MD; a brother William Daus of Wynantskill; three sisters: Mrs. Ethel Fenniston, Mrs. Mildred Walker and Mrs. Marion Hastings all of Troy.
