Carol A. Agness, 67, of Wabash, Indiana, died Tuesday, July 4, 2006 at her home. She was born August 16, 1938 in Grand Rapids, Minnesota to Bert and Alice (Peterson) Carlson.
She married Terry Dee Agness in Kankakee, Illinois, August 30, 1963; he died October 4, 2004.
She was a 1956 graduate of Pequot Lakes High School, Pequot Lakes, Minnesota, and attended St. Paul Bible College in St. Paul, Minnesota. Carol was a member of the Wabash Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, and was very active in Meals on Wheels in Wabash, serving on the Board of Directors and delivering meals several years.
She is survived by her son, Lance (Shelley) Agness of Wabash; her daughter, Lana (Brent) Barnhisel of Danville; two granddaughters, Alicia Agness of Wabash and Erica Barnhisel of Danville; her grandson, Ethan Agness of Wabash; a brother, Keith Carlson of Naches, Washington.
Funeral services will be held at Wabash Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, 1200 N. Cass Street, Wabash, on Sunday, July 9, 2006 at 3:00pm with Rev. Don Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow at Falls Cemetery, Wabash. Friends may call 3-7pm Saturday at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash and 2-3pm Sunday at the church. Preferred memorial is Great Commission Fund at Wabash Christian and Missionary Alliance Church.
