Earl (Mike) C. Goettmann, 87, formerly of 453 Mt. Vernon St., died at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Mercy Medical Center, following a lengthy illness.

Born in Oshkosh June 18, 1890, he was the son of Michael and Ida Goettmann. He married Ruth Bowron Nov. 21, 1911 in Chicago, who preceded him in death April 2, 1977.

Mr. Goettman was the founder of Goettman Printing Co., which started operation in 1924. He was a member of Oshkosh Lodge No. 27 of Masons, was a Scottish Rite mason, and life-time member of the Tripoli Temple. He was also a life member of the Fox River Hunting and Fishing Club, and was a former secretary-treasurer.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. A.F. (Jane) Fuller, Oshkosh, and Mrs. Paul (Jean) Runkel, Port Washington; one sister, Mrs. Norman (Elsie) Kimball, New Hartford, N.Y., six grandchildren and four greatgrandchildren.

Services will be held at Seefeld Church Avenue Chapel at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, the Rev. Harry Baker officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5 p.m. until the time of services. A memorial has been established..
