Daughter of Daniel A. and Mary A. Fender. She came as a child with her parents to Elk City, OK, in 1907 and lived in Sayre, OK, and surrounding communities since that time. She married Sidna Elbert McDaniel at Berlin, OK, on August 18, 1912 at her home in the presence of J. A. McDaniel (father of the groom) of Berlin, OK and L. B. Carr of Grime, OK.
Children included: John Allen, Alice Mae, Mary Ann, Louise Bernice, Leonard Leon, Walter Lee, Ioma Jean, George L. E., Eula Mae, Claude Muriel and Mamie Ruth McDaniel.
Martha was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two daughters, one son, two sisters and two brothers.
She was a member of the Elk Creek Primitive Baptist church for a number of years.
