Died - Dr. F. F. Floyd, this morning, due to pneumonia. He is survived by his wife and three children: Dr. Waldo Floyd, of Statesboro, Mrs. Irma Floyd Everett, of Savannah, their mother being Mary Alice McElveen who died eight years ago, and a young daughter, Frances Felton, whose mother, before her marriage to Dr. Floyd, was Miss Ethel Ardelia Mitchell. Also surviving are three brothers: Allen Floyd, of Willie, Ga., Willie Floyd, of Port Wentworth, Ga., Jesse Floyd, of Jacksonville, Fla.; three sisters Mrs. Anna Lowther, of Jacksonville; Mrs. J. D. Kicklighter, of Savannah, and Mrs. James F. Brannen, of Stilson. Dr. Floyd was born in Liberty Co. in 1825. He was a Captain and Surgeon during the World War.
