Bahe Stanley, born April 15, 1923 in Monument Valley, died quietly Friday morning at his home in Monument Valley, Utah, after a long ailment.

Survived by his wife, Lois Stanley; his brothers, Willie and Kee Holiday; father of 15 daughters and sons, Marie S. Holiday; Dorothy Hathale; Mary Lou Fatt; Darlene Holiday; Bil Stanley; Lawrence L. Stanley; Loretta Willie; Daniel Stanley; Mae Lou Todechenie; Gerald Stanley; Larry L. Stanley; and Irvin Stanley; daughters and sons passed away, Debbie Mae, Sylvia Ann, Timothy, and Roy Lee Stanley (slain police officer).

Funeral services 10 a.m. Tuesday, Monument Valley Seventh-Day Adventist Church.

Beloved friend, Navajo brother of kindness, and father of wisdom to those who knew him. Called to serve in World War II. An old Indian uranium miner who did his part to help make his country powerful. ''Good bye, good friend.''
