Services for Bob Knowles age 84 of Oakwood will be at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday at Memorial Baptist Church in Oakwood with Bro. Jack Smith, Jr. and Ricky Tryon officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood City Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey & Foster. Mr. Knowles died Friday at Trucare Living Center in Palestine. He was born March 2, 1931 in Freestone County to Thomas R. and Ida Mae Morgan Knowles. Mr. Knowles was a retired truck driver. He served in the U.S. Air Force. Mr. Knowles was a member of the Memorial Baptist Church. He loved farming, raising cattle and fishing. Mr. Knowles was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Jewel Hazel Knowles, a daughter Sally Knowles, his twin brother Lee Knowles, and brother W.M. Knowles. He is survived by one daughter, one sister, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
