George William Bundy, 73, Salt Lake City, Utah, died Saturday at his residence.
Born May 15, 1917, in Greenfield, Indiana, he was the son of John C. and Martha (Scott) Bundy.
He had been a resident of Salt Lake City, Utah since 1980.
Mr. Bundy was a World War II Army Veteran having served in Europe. He was awarded the Bronze Star.
He retired in 1980 from Ford Motor Co.
Mr. Bundy was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion and Disabled American Veterans.
On January 11, 1980, he married Elizabeth (Clark) Bundy who survives.
Other survivors include sons William Bundy, Indiana, and Logan Dutcher, Salt Lake City, Utah; daughters Georgia Petrarca, Florida, Anita McGowin, Florida and Myra Coleman, Salt Lake City, Utah; brothers Donzel "Don" Bundy and Scott Bundy, both of Greenfield, Indiana; 12 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Bob Bundy.
Services were Thursday at Holbrook Funeral Chapel, Salt Lake City, Utah. Burial was in Utah Veteran's Memorial Park.
