Mrs. Simpson Green was born in Madison County, Kentucky, on December 24th, 1830, and died near Larkin [now named Larkinburg], Jackson County, Kansas, on March 14, 1894, of pneumonia .... she leaves her husband, four sons and two daughters, K. C. Green of Soldier, Kas; Florence Berry of Oklahoma; Nettie Estes at Muscotah, Kas., and W. D., J. M., and J. A. Green of Holton, Kas., and many friends to mourn their loss, one son and one daughter having passed before her ... laid tenderly to rest by her kindred in the Estes cemetery, March 15.
