William R. (Bill) Hann, Sr
Mr. William R. (Bill) Hann Sr., age 62, of Gatesville, died Tuesday, June 13, 2006, at a Temple hospital.
Graveside services were held Saturday, June 17 at 10 a.m. at Restland Cemetery. A memorial service was scheduled for 6 p.m. Monday, June 19, at Sweet Home Baptist Church.
Bill was born on March 25, 1944, in Dowagiac, MI to the late Roy and Esther Pinrod Hann. He grew up in Michigan and later served in the Army for three years. He was a truck driver for over 20 years. He worked for the City of Gatesville at the city barn and recently, he was an electrician with Carter Construction, retiring in March 2006. He married Janet Kranker in 2004 and was a member of Sweet Home Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Tammy Marie Hann; and a grandson, James Andrew Hann.
He is survived by his wife, Janet Hann of Gatesville; daughters, Michele Holden and husband Ricky of Gatesville, Kelly Pierce and husband Todd of Gatesville and Misty Freeman and husband Scott of Indiana; sons, Rob Hann and wife Dana of China Spring, William Hann Jr. of Moody, Tony Hann of Gatesville and John Hann of Gatesville; brothers, Wells, Paul and Jim Edgerly and Tim Hann; sister, Daisy Baham; 19 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
