GEORGE WISSINGER, 59, EXPIRES IN HOSPITAL
Resident of Blough Succumbs Following Operation at Windber
Hooversville, Aug. 22- George Wissinger, aged 59, passed away this morning at 2 o'clock in Windber Hospital, where he underwent an operation three weeks ago for stomach trouble. He had been a resident of Blough form more than 50 years. Surviving are his widow, a daughter, Mabel, wife of Irvin Berkebile, and these brothers and sister: Thomas Wissinger, of Blough; Martin Wissinger, of Mechanicsburg; and Mrs. Daniel Yoder, of Geistown. He also leaves a granddaughter, Ruby Berkebile. The body was prepared for burial by Undertaker A. C. Berkebile and was removed to the Wissinger home today. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday afternoon in St. Thomas Lutheran Church. The Rev. Maurice R. Gotner will officiate. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
