Mr. Jimmy Lee Ryals, Sr. was born on August 3, 1946 in Wheeler County, GA to the late Carrie Smith Ryals and James Jefferson Ryals, Sr. Jimmy Lee Ryals attended Wheeler County Training School, and afterwards started his career with Little Ocmulgee E.M.C. until he retired. Jimmy was called into the Ministry early on in life. He was ordained as a Minister in the Church Of God In Christ in 1978. Jimmy was known for his giving heart, big smile, and hard Work Ethics. He was someone you would never forget because of his positive outlook on things was "God will make a way out of no way", and "Things will work according to God's Plan." God called Jimmy Lee Ryals, Sr. home to his bosom on October 8, 2014. He leaves cherish memories to a Loving and Devoted Wife: Irene Ryals of Alamo, GA. Five Children: Shirley Ryals of Bradenton, FL; Barbara Green; Legia Ryals; Jimmy Lee Ryals, Jr. all of Alamo, GA; and Jeffrey (Sherry) Ryals of Mt. Vernon, GA. Six Stepchildren: Wayne Marcell (Danielle) Jeter; Christopher (Dimpho) Jeter; Jeffery Jeter all of West Palm Beach, FL; Toymanuel (Yolanda) Austin of Stone Mountain, GA; Juan (Gloria) Story of Charlotte, NC; and Chantheia George of Tampa, FL. Five Sisters and Brothers: James Jefferson (Nell) Ryals of Atlanta, GA; Shirley (Claude) Lee; Ocie (Charles) Pound all of Alamo, GA; Jewel Tyson of Ocilla, GA; and Ernestine Pound of Helena, GA. His legacy will be sustained by his 10 Grandchildren; 31 Step Grandchildren, and 4 Great Grandchildren. And a host of nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends.
