Born March 7, 1953, in Mobile, Alabama, he lived in Satsuma, Alabama with his wife Peggy Allen of 38 years. He worked at Scott Paper Company for 28 years and retired from Allen Trucking in 2013. He was a member of Fountain of Life Church in Saraland, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his mother Nancy Loper Allen, father Gaines O. Allen Sr., and sister Mirian Burggess. Survivors include his loving wife, Peggy Allen, and his three daughters, Pamela Allen, of Atlanta, Georgia, Nancy (Ronald Jr.) Baria, and Katy (D.J.) Anderson of Satsuma, Alabama. In addition to his six grandchildren, Lunden Allen, Liz Allen, Gunner Anderson, Lillie Baria, Fisher Anderson, and Walker Anderson and four living siblings, Jabo (Mildred) Allen of Creola, Alabama, Ray (Sandra) Allen of Mobile. Alabama, Sharon Busby of Fairhope, Alabama, and Tonya Allen of Knoxville, Tennessee. Services will be held from 6 -8 p.m., Thursday, June 25, at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 9700 Celeste Road, Saraland, Alabama. The service will be held at Fountain of Life Church on Friday, June 26 with a viewing at 10:00 a.m. and a service to follow at 11:00 a.m. The burial will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens at 10000 Celeste Road, Saraland, Alabama.
