Graveside services for Charles (Buster) Russell will be conducted today, April 8 at West Line Street Cemetery. A resident of Bishop for 40 years, Mr. Russell died April 5 at his home at the age of 84. He was born June 4, 1907 in Grants Pass, Oregon. Mr. Russell moved to Bishop in 1952, where he was employed by Mountain State Uranium Company. He is survived by his daughter, Sue Clarkson of Bishop; son Neil Wissing of Tacoma, Wash., grandchildren Minnie Bird of Big Pine, Marilyn Lewis of Smith Valley, Nev., George Clarkson of Nipomo, Calif., Kim Wissing of Hawaii, and Greg and Jeff Wissing of Tacoma, Wash., and seven great-grandchildren. Pastor Clint Scarbrough of the Church of the Nazarene will officiate at the services. Interment will be at West Line Street Cemetery.
