POINT PLEASANT -- Elmer Huddleston, 83, of Point Pleasant, died Jan. 7, 1989, in Pleasant Valley Hospital after a long illness. He was a retired riverman and a member of the Church of Christ in Christian Union, Point Pleasant. Surviving: daughters, Dorothy Rhodes of Point Pleasant, Anna Mae Staats and Frances Maynard, both of South Point, Ohio; sons, Paul of Norfolk, Va., and Drew of Huntington; 17 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchidlren; nine great-great-grandchildren. Service will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Wilcoxen Funeral Home, Point Pleasant, with the Rev. James L. Bunn officiating. Burial will be in Suncrest Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
