Father Jesse Mosley was a farmer from VA. , mother Arispa Wilson, father Tom and wife Peggy. Tom was from NC. Grandfather Frederick Mosely died in VA. and grandmother Rebecca moved to TN near Murfreesburo, TN. Robert lived in a 1 1/2 story log house. He went to school for maybe 5 months. Joined the Confederacy in Dec 1864 near Chapel Hill, Marshel Co, TN. I was not in no regular battle after about one month I was in a skirmishe. Discharged in May 1865.
