Remains of Mrs. John Becker Laid to Rest

Funeral services for Mrs. John Becker, who passed away on Wednesday night of last week, were held Sunday afternoon at the L.D.S. church in Bynum. Interment was made in the cemetery at that place.

Mrs. Becker's maiden name was Mary Ann Baker. She was born Feb. 26, 1890, at Teton, Idaho, being the daughter of Benjamin and Lucy Baker. As a young girl she went with her parents to Leavitt, Alberta, where the family lived for a number of years. From there they came to Teton county in 1914 and located on a ranch northwest of Choteau on the Teton river.

On April 4, 1916, Mary Ann Baker was united in marriage to John Becker, the marriage being performed at Bynum. They continued to make their home in the Bynum district until the time of her death.

Survivors in addition to her husband one son, John Pershing Becker, of Bynum; two brothers, George Baker, of Augusta and Simon Baker of Choteau; five sisters, Mrs. H.T. Rhoads of Everett, Wash., Mrs. Archie Monroe of Great Falls, Mrs. Silas Monroe of Great Falls, Mrs. Fred Greenwood of Great Falls and Miss Evelyn Baker of Boulder.
