Closeup photos of the orchid details on the gravestone of Norman and Helen Hillemann. On the left is a representation of Cymbidium insigne, adapted from a print published 1910 in Curtis Botanical Magazine. On the right is a representation of a cattleya orchid. At their homes in Southern California, Norman and Helen raised cymbidiums and cattleyas, as well as other orchids. Norman made a cymbidium cross which he named "Green Glass", the progeny of which he exhibited and obtained awards at orchid shows. Gravestone photographed 7 Jul 2015 by their son Craig Hillemann.
