Born to the late A.M. & Allie Coltrane Burchfield, former controller of Summey Building Systems and self-employed CPA; U.S. Air Force veteran having served as a B45 radio operator in the 84th Bomb Wing in Sculthrope, England; in addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Coy Burchfield; survived by his wife, one son, three daughters, and three grandsons.
