Mrs. Emil Holmquist died in the Sisters’ hospital yesterday morning from the effects of tuberculosis. Deceased was 20 years of age and a native of Nebraska. She had suffered for a considerable period with the dread disease that finally carried her off. Mrs. Holmquist had resided here and at Northport since she was a little girl, and had quite a large number of friends who will sincerely mourn her untimely demise. The funeral will take place at 2:30 on Saturday afternoon from the family residence.

The funeral of the late Mrs. Emil Holmquist took place yesterday afternoon from the family residence. A large number of friends attended in carriages. The floral offerings were numerous and showed the high measure of esteem with which the deceased was held. Rev. J. P. D. Knox, pastor of the Methodist church, officiated at the funeral service.
