Bernard H. Boxx, 67, of Plantation, passed away July 22, 1995. A third generation native Floridian born in Clay County, he graduated from The University of Miami in 1951, where he had a football scholorship.
He worked in the healthcare business in sales and consulting for 30 years. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, holding many leadership positions, including Bishop.
He is survived by his eternal companion, Duleth (Dulie) Roberts; his loving daughters, Robin Farnsworth of Davie, FL, Julie Boyle of Dallas, TX, Jill Smith of Deltona, FL; 9 grandchildren; 2 brothers, Chester and Maysel of Jacksonville; 3 sisters, Jeanette Early of Atlanta, Virginia Lee of Twin Falls, ID, Shirley Sanders of Jacksonville, FL and many friends whose lives he touched profoundly. He was loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM, Thursday, July 27, 1995 at T.M. Ralph Funeral Home, Plantation. Also Visitation at The Deland Church of Jesus Chrsit of Latter-day Saints, Deland, on Friday from 12-1:45 PM. Services to follow at 2 PM. Burial will be at The Deltona Memorial Gardens, Deltona, FL.
