71, of Glendale, Arizona passed away June 19, 2012 in Southampton, England. He is survived by his wife, Joan; sister, Claude; children, Lori (Ken), Patrick, and Helen; grandchildren, Ryan, Chris, James, Shawn, and Katelynn; and great grandson, Alek; in addition to many friends and extended family. Alain served for 30 years in the United States Navy, retiring as a Sr. Chief. He also served 25 years as a Detective with the Phoenix Police Department. A Memorial Service to celebrate his life will be held July 14, 2012 at 10am in the Palo Verde Room at Christ Church of the Valley in Peoria, Arizona. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Mayo Clinic Cancer Research in his name.
