GLORIA BRONTE LANE, of Little Rock, passed away Saturday, June 20, 2015. She was born May 18, 1943 in McCrory, Ark.

Gloria grew up in McCrory, graduated from Hendrix College, received her master's degree at the University of Arkansas, and pursued her doctoral studies at Temple University.

Gloria was proud of her involvement with the NASA space program in the late 1960s. She continued her career in the computer field at University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Gloria was active in the Arkansas Jazz Heritage Foundation and animal rescue. She was an expert genealogist with special interest in Woodruff County and the Bronte family in America and Great Britain.

Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy Hamilton Bronte and Paul Bronte and her sister, Diana Paul (Lydia) Bronte. She is survived by Albert Everett of Little Rock, Ark. and numerous family members and friends.

Visitation will be Tuesday, June 23 at 10 a.m. at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, Ark., (501) 224-8300. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel. A graveside service will follow at 3 p.m. at Fakes Cemetery in McCrory, Ark.
