A. Eileen Dineen, 86, of Fond du Lac passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2015 at her home. Eileen was born on April 6, 1929 in Stevens Point, WI, a daughter of Charles and Catherine O’Connor Dineen.

She received her Diploma in Nursing from the St. Agnes School of Nursing, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Marian College, and a Master of Science in Nursing from Marquette University.

Most of her nursing career was spent in nursing education. Eileen taught at the St. Agnes School of Nursing, Marian College and Moraine Park Technical College. Prior to her retirement in 1991 she was Director of Nursing at St. Francis Home for seven years.
After retirement she was active as a volunteer at St. Agnes Hospital and at Holy Family Parish.

Eileen is survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, John, Thomas “Connor”, Bernard and Charles Dineen; one sister, Patricia Thompson and special aunt, Cicely.

Visitation: Family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, June 26, 2015 at Holy Family Church, 271 Fourth Street Way in Fond du Lac, prior to the Mass from 12:00 noon to 1:45 PM.

Services: A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 on Friday at Holy Family Church. Cremation has taken place and the interment of ashes will be at St. Stephen Cemetery in Stevens Point, WI.

Memorials in her name may be directed to Marian University or St. Francis Nursing Home.
