He was born June 2, 1923 in Moorefield, son of the late Ashby Barb and Cora Ratliff Barb. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Eveline (Kisamore) Barb in December 28, 1975.
Surviving besides his second wife, Armelda (Kessel) Barb are one son, Norman R. Barb, of Moorefield; two daughters, Wanda Wratchford, Moorefield and Betty Ours of Purgitsville.
