The marker, erected by the Maryland Historical Society, is located at the intersection of Oakland Mills Road and Dobbin Road. From the marker: Christ Episcopal Church, 1711, Original log chapel of ease, Queen Anne’s Parish, erected on "New Years Gift," a present from the Proprietary to Edward Dorsey and Charles Carroll. Pew #1 of Christ Church was shared by the families of Ann & Joshua and her brother, Col. Henry Ridgely.
Joshua & Ann were blessed with ten children, five sons and five daughters:
