George Baker. An illness of 7 months ended in death for George E. Baker, retired. Mr. Baker, who was 72 years old, and who had lived in Knoxville and about Concord for 20 years, passed at his home near Concord at 9:45 last night.
Mr. Baker was a member of the Disciples of Christ Church at Saltio, Ind.
He leaves his wife Anna; sons Ernest and Fred, of Chattanooga; S. L., who is with the Merchant Marines; James D. of Concord; a sister Maude Kelso and a brother James Baker of Campellsburg, Ind.
Services will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at Rose's, the Rev. F. F. Ezra, of Madisonville, and the Rev. Mr. Lewis, of Concord, officiating. The body will remain at Rose's until time of the service.
