Brandt Funeral Home was in charge of graveside services on Saturday afternoon, August 18 at the Brethren Cemetery at Dallas Center for Raymond A. Gipson, 87, of Des Moines. Rev. James Fouke, pastor of the United Methodist Church, officiated. Raymond, who had been a semi-invalid for many years, was a son of the late Mayme Gipson and a nephew of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Burnett. He had visited in Dallas Center and also attended school here in his youth.
