YOUNG, Blanche T., 92, of Roanoke, passed away Sunday, May 19, 1996. She was the widow of Tillman S. Young. Surviving are a daughter, Janet Y. Goldstein of Roanoke; a son and daughter-in-law, D. Jack and Margaret B. Young of Roanoke; six grandchildren, Lenda Kay and husband Hayes K. Wyatt of Marietta Ga.; Cynthia Leigh Goldstein of Roanoke, Melinda Susan and husband Edwin McCall of Richmond, Sabrina Annette and husband John Brandetsas of Roanoke, T. Steven and wife Trish Young of Wirtz, Kathy S. Eichelberger, D.V.M., and husband Stanley A. Eichelberger, D.V.M., of Montvale; six great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Bessie Y. Duffy of Salem, and Mrs. Lolene Y. Proffitt and Mrs. Ferne Y. Eddins of Roanoke, and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, with Dr. Carl A. Collins Jr., the Rev. Paige Young and the Rev. Ronald Young officiating. Interment will be in Sherwood Memorial Park. The family suggests that those wishing to make memorials consider the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel.
