Ramona Lavon (Peterson) Anderson, 86, of Lake Navarro Mills, passed away Tuesday, June 16, 2015, in a Dallas hospital. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m., with funeral services at 11:30 a.m., Friday, June 19, at Wade Funeral Home in Hubbard with Rev. Chuck Nelson officiating. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m., Sunday, June 28, at Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Hubbard with Brother Rick Shook officiating. Interment will follow in Liberty Hill Cemetery.
Ramona was born in Dallas, Texas, to the late Jesse Ernest Peterson and Vivian Mae (London) Peterson. She had lived in the Dawson and Lake Navarro Mills area for the past 25 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Travis Anderson; twin sons, Donald Glenn Parker and Ronald Ben Parker; sisters, Rachel Naomi Armstrong and Jessie Mae Harris; and brother, Aubrey Wayne Peterson.
Survivors include her sons, Stephen Andrew Parker and wife, Dorothy, of Grapevine, and George Ernest Rollins, of Hubbard; daughter, Vernene Finger and husband, William "Bill", of Elm Mott; a sister, Ernestine Nichols, of Guthrie, Oklahoma; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other extended family members and friends.
