Ex-Abilene Woman
Dies at Amarillo

Mrs. E. W. Hutchens, 62, former Abilene resident, died in an Amarillo hospital early Sunday morning.
A resident of Abilene for 12 years, Mrs. Hutchens had lived in Amarillo only two months. She moved to Abilene from Goree.
Funeral services will be held at 3 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at Goree. Burial will be in the Goree Cemetery.
Survivors include two daughters, Mildred Hutchens of Amarillo and Mrs. E. Waters of California; one son, Dement of Amarillo; four brothers, Monroe Maxwell, J. R. Maxwell, G. C. Maxwell, and R. H. Maxwell, all of Abilene; four sisters, Mrs. Willie Edward Galley, Mrs. Ethel Massey, and Mrs. Fanny McMahan, all of Abilene and Mrs. Lulu Thomas, of Hamlin; and two nephews, Harold Maxwell and Emmett Maxwell, both of Abilene.
Mr. and Mrs. Monroe Maxwell, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Maxwell and children, Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Maxwell and Mrs. Margaret Avrett of Abilene will attend the funeral.
