Graveside services for Ry C. Honeycutt will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 19, 2015 at the Floral Haven Cemetery. Interment will follow in the Floral Have Cemetery under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.

Roy C. Honeycutt, age 90, of Skiatook, died at 12:15 a.m. Tuesday, June 16, 2015 in Tulsa.

Roy was born November 19, 1924 in Stigler, Oklahoma to John and Ethel (Brazeil) Honeycutt. Roy grew up and received his education in Kinta, Oklahoma graduating from high school in 1942. Roy was drafted into the United States Army in 1942 and received his honorable discharge in 1943. Roy married Ruby Viola Faught on April 18, 1946 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas and made their home in Stigler then moved to Sunnyvale, California then moved back to Stigler and in 1969 they moved to Skiatook where they had lived since that time. Roy liked to tinker and build things and make things from wood. Roy was a member of the Cincinnati Church of Christ in Sperry.

Roy was preceded in death by his mother and father, wife Ruby in 2011 and by ten brothers and sisters.

Roy is survived by one brother: Floye Honeycutt of Bristow and by several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.


Funeral services and interment are under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
