Mr. Charles Ray Leidy, age 82, of Ft. Lauderdale, FL passed away at his home on Friday, June 12, 2015. He served his country in the US Navy and worked for the US Postal Service as a letter carrier and was a member of the First Christian Church of Wilton Manors. Preceded in death by his father Charles Porter Leidy and mother, Vivian Ruth Steele Leidy, and sister Joan Davis. He is survived by his wife, Diane Leidy; daughters, Tara Bezak, of Ft. Lauderdale, Karen (Dell) Whitlow, Oldsmar, FL, Tracey (Keith) Works, of Holiday, FL, Danielle Tenney, of Kentucky, Nicole Maitlen, of Ohio; son, Curtis Leidy, of Lakeland, FL; 9 grandchildren. His request for cremation will be honored and Inurnment will take place on July 13, 2015 at 1:30 PM at the South Florida National Cemetery with Military Honors by the US Navy.
