Bessie Louise Mulhollan of New Braunfels, Texas passed away Sunday, June 14, 2015 at the age of 92. She was born in Cedar Creek (Bell County), Texas on February 9, 1923 to parents John and Margaret Epperson. She married Carl Edward Mulhollan, Jr. in 1944 while he was on leave during WWII, and they were together 42 years until his death in 1986. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother, she also enjoyed playing bridge with her many friends.
Bessie is survived by her children, John Carl Mulhollan, Michael Edward Mulhollan, Jimmy Lynn Mulhollan, Kennon David Mulhollan, Melissa Ann Mulhollan, and Debra Todd; grandchildren, Ashley Neslage, Beth Mulhollan, Julia Carson, Carly Johnsey, Jennifer Mulhollan, Anita Hampton, and Rita Kubala; great-grandchildren, Ashton Johnsey, Jack and Claire Nesalge, Cameron and Kaitlyn Bledsoe, Elizabeth Gray, and Jay and Mattie Carson; great-great-grandson Rhyder Yarbrough; brother-in-law, Jack Mulhollan; sister-in-law Dixie Mulhollan; and sister-in-law (and lifelong friend) Cleta Todd; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 22, 2015 at 1:30pm at Doeppenschmidt Funeral Home in New Braunfels, with Rev. Ray Still leading the service. Burial will follow at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park.
