Rev. Malcolm Bolin Durway, age 81 of Cape Coral died on February 25, 2007 at SW Florida Regional Hospital, Fort Myers after a brief illness. He was born July 7, 1925 to Catherine Bolin and Malcolm Robert Durway, he grew up in Fort Worth, TX.

For one year he attended Texas A & M University before entering the 27th Infantry Division of the US Army. He was wounded in the Battle for Okinawa and received the Purple Heart during World War II. He graduated from the University of Texas and Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary. He also received graduate degrees from University of Texas and Union Theological Seminary in New York City.

As an ordained Presbyterian minister, he served pastorates in Gretna, LA and Fort Payne, AL. For many years, he served as Minister to Children at Westfield Presbyterian Church, Westfield, NJ. His last pastorate was as Associate Minister at Faith Presbyterian Church, Cape Coral.

He is survived by his wife, Betty, his mother, Catherine and his twin, Joseph Robert Durway in Fort Worth, TX; his brother, Daniel Lindsey and wife Flo Denny Durway, of Raleigh, NC, three stepsons, a stepdaughter, step grandchildren, a niece and two nephews. He was predeceased by his father and grandparents.

A Memorial Service will be conducted on Wednesday, (TODAY) at 2:00 PM in the Faith Presbyterian Church, 4544 Coronado Parkway, Cape Coral. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be sent to the American Cancer Society, 4575 Via Royale #110, Ft. Myers, FL 33919.

Inturnment will be in Westfield, NJ at a later date.
