Roy Ellis Jacoby, 91, died Monday, March 9, 2009, in a local nursing home. Service is at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 12, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Stonewall with burial in Stonewall Community Cemetery. Arrangements are by Schaetter Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife, Erna Besier Jacoby of Fredericksburg; children Roy "Jake" Jacoby of Houston, Jo "Fuzzy" Jenschke, Daniel "Louie" Jacoby, Thomas D. Jacoby, Andrew "Andy" Jacoby, Patrick "Pat" Jacoby and Ross E. Jacoby, all of Fredericksburg, Barbara Jacoby of Hondo, Peter J. Jacoby of Spring and Carolyn Garner of Louisiana; and sister Pearl Kowalik of Missouri.
