JOHN E. DELAUDER died at his home in Downsville of complications Sunday morning, aged 60 years.

He was the son of the late David H. and Louisa (Hoover) Delauder. He was born and raised in Frederick County.

He is survived by wife, Mrs. Beulah G. Delauder; children, Mrs. Louisa Bowers, Williamsport; Mrs. Katherine Young and Bessie, both at home; M/Sgt. L. F. Delauder, Fort Riley, Kan.; S/Sgt. Murray A., in Germany; S/Sgt. John W., Burma, India; Charles R., David W., and J. A. Delauder, all at home; four grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Media Hoover, Union Bridge; Mrs. John Buharp, Downsville; brothers, Harvey Delauder, Hagerstown; Ira and Harry Delauder, of Myersville; Roy, Frederick; Alvey, Middletown; and Raymond, Franklin Grove, Ill.

He was a member of Williamsport Methodist Church, from which services will be held Friday at 2 pm with the Rev. Cyril Hoover officiating; interment in Manor Cemetery.
