Jeannette Ella (Phillips) Adams, 80, of Bridgeton died Friday at South Jersey Hospital-Bridgeton.
Born and raised in Norma, she was a 1936 Vineland High School graduate. She was a longtime Vineland resident before moving to Bridgeton. Mrs. Adams worked at several local clothing companies before retiring. She belonged to the Amalgamated Clothing Workers Union.
Survivors include two nieces, Leanora Mekosh of Pottstown, Pa., and Eunice Jones of Millville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward, who died in 1963; and her parents, John L. and Elizabeth Dea Phillips.
A private funeral service will be conducted at Pancoast Funeral Home, 676 S. Main Road, Vineland. Burial will be in Siloam Cemetery, Vineland.
